Raymond L. Beieler, 89, of Elyria left to be with his beloved wife Norma on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. He was born July 14, 1923 in Wooster, OH.

Raymond served in the United States Army during World War II in Europe. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Bowling Green State University. He was employed for nearly 50 years at the BF Goodrich Chemical Company in Avon Lake where he was a Manager of Accounting. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Raymond enjoyed fishing, genealogy, computers, The Ohio State sports teams, and bird watching.

Mr. Beieler is survived by his daughters Linda Sharkey (Michael) of North Olmsted and Carol Fort (Richard) of Medina; grandchildren Christopher, Steven, Lisa Maraffa (Andrew), Rachel, and Bradley; sister Irene Wepler (Bob) of Wooster and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Norma Beieler (nee Kinch) (2009); sister Fern Gallagher; brother Harry Beieler; parents John and Edith (nee Shade) Beieler.

Friends may call 5-8pm Friday, October 12 at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria and 10-11am Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 312 Third Street, Elyria. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 13 at11am in the church chapel. Rev. Dalton Love will officiate. Interment will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park. VFW Post #1079 will perform Military Honors.
