Murrill "Molly" O. Woodhead (nee Ohle), 93 of Avon Lake since 2009, formerly of Homosassa, FL & Charlotte, NC, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake. She was born on October 14, 1918 in Baltimore, MD. Molly graduated from Business College and worked for the Secret Service as a secretary during WWII. Molly was active with the Women's Guild in Homosassa, FL and a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Avon Lake. She was an avid bridge player and loved to read (averaging 2-3 books per week). Molly was also a seamstress and enjoyed knitting. She is survived by her children Nancy Burns (Patrick C.) and the late Michael L. (Vicki); grandchildren Tori Rudkin (Peter), Stephanie Mailloux, Lindsay Nickolls, Stacy Krupa (Steve), Greg and Scott Woodhead; great grandchildren of Ella and Nick Rudkin, Mady and Luc Mailloux, and Christian and Kyle Woodhead. She is preceded in death by her husband William T. Memorials may be forwarded to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Private memorial service will be held.
