Kathryn J. Dillon (nee Ocheltree) 83, of Oberlin formerly of Sheffield Lake, Passed away Wednesday November 26 at New Life Hospice Center of Saint Joseph, Lorain. Kathryn was born February 27, 1925 in Braxton County, West Virginia and had lived in Oberlin the last fifteen years.

Kathryn worked at a local Greenhouse and Worthington Ball Factory both in Elyria and also a Child Care Center in Avon. She was described by her family as a loving care giver all her life. She cared for her parents, husband, daughter as well as neighbors and friends. She loved being outdoors, taking care of her flower garden and taking leisurely nature walks. When she wasn’t outdoors she enjoyed reading. She enjoyed her family and her home.

Kathryn is survived by her only daughter Kathy A. Gresco (Ron) of Oberlin, Step Son Alan J. Dillon (Irene) of Caldwell and her brother Olen Ocheltree (Lilly) of Bellville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Scottie C. Dillon, parents Oley and Mamie (nee Knight) Ocheltree and brothers Kenneth, Hugh, Paul, Howard, Spurgeon, sisters Deloris, Mildred and Ruth.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday November 28 at the Busch Funeral Home 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon. A prayer service is scheduled at 7:30 the same evening. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial afterwards at Resthaven Memory Gardens Avon.
