James A. Peters, husband of Sally (nee Kropat) (deceased); father of Sylvia Myers (David), Donna Peters, Roberta Citino (Robert), Daniel Peters, Marsha Stellato (Louis); grandfather of Jennifer Bayer, Allison Citino, Eileen Conroy, Dominic Stellato, Laura Citino, Bryan Peters, Vincent Stellato Anthony Stellato, Nick Stellato, Emily Citino; great-grandfather of Jacob and Alex; Brother of William Peters (deceased). James was born April 14, 1924 in Erie, PA to Alfred and Bernice Peters. He worked as a Railroad Dispatcher and started working for the railroad when he was a teenager. He worked for New York Central, then Penn Central. He also enjoyed model railroading as a hobby. He like to travel and sight see on the railroads. He wrote articles that he submitted to Modern Railroad Magazine. Passed away September 16, 2010. Prayers on Monday, September 20, at 9:30am at the funeral home, followed by 10:00am Funeral Mass at St. Angela Merici Church, Fairview Park.
