Harry W. Dowdell, age 84 of North Royalton, Army Veteran; beloved husband for 64 years of Dorothy "Mickey" (nee McGivney); loving father of LCDR Michael F., USN (RET) (Carol), The Rev. Catherine Lawrence, and Sharon Shimandle (James); dear Pa of Michael P., Jennifer Armstrong (Michael), Stephen, Jason Shimandle, and Jillian Teeter (Justin); great Pa of Zachary, Andrew, Tristin Teeter and Eleanor Armstrong; and friend of many. Passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Memorials may be forwarded to Zion United Church of Christ, Fireside, 13525 Township Road 178, Bellevue, OH 44811. Memorial Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Cremation by Busch Crematory. Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 RIDGE RD., PARMA FROM 5-6:00 P.M.
