Diane Louise Sisson (nee Emerson), 70 of Cleveland, formerly of Avon Lake passed away after a sudden injury on Monday, August 6, 2012. Diane was born in Bay Village on August 5, 1942. She graduated high school from St. Joseph's Academy in Cleveland. Diane was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Church in Avon Lake.

Diane is survived by her children Donna Pycraft (James) of Lagrange, Duane Sisson of Charleston, SC, Diane Gollin (Robert) of Brunswick, Daniel Sisson of Fairlawn, Debra Sisson of Brunswick, and Jennifer Sisson of Brunswick; 12 grandchildren, Jim, John, Jeanine, Amy, Emily, Sarah, Ryan, Megan, Brittani, Evan, Faith, and Timmy; sister, Sr. Donna Emerson (Sisters of St. Joseph) of Cleveland. She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Dorothy (nee Anderson) Emerson.

A memorial service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, August 14 at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Road, Avon Lake with Father Kevin Shemuga presiding. Family will receive friends prior to mass from 9-10am at church.
