Obituary for William "Howard" Dortch

William "Howard" Dortch, age 67 of Cleveland and formerly of Jackson, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020. Beloved friend of Gina Turner, mother of his only child; loving father of Hollie Turner Adams; devoted grandfather of Isiah Ethan Turner-Lewis, Kayva Adams, and Sunny Adams; dear brother of Carmen Dortch, Valeria Dortch, Cheryl Dortch, David Dortch, and Bridget Dortch. Preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley and Eula Mae Dortch (nee Gray) and sister, Jacelyn Dortch. Howard was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired as a computer operator for the Veterans Administration. Howard was an avid Browns fan but particularly loved the time he spent with his grandchildren. Funeral service with military honors at 12:15pm on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at the Busch Funeral Home, 4334 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH 44109.
