Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother

Obituary

In the late summer of 1926, William and Mary Tymoszczuk brought their wonderful daughter Pauline "Polly" Tymoszczuk into the world. Polly would marry Ted Woznicki on October 27, 1951 and they would enjoy fifty-five years of marriage. Together Polly and Ted raised four children, Barbara, Ted, Paul and David. During Polly and Ted's life-long companionship they spent many happy summers at their family cottage on Catawba Island.

Polly dedicated her life to provide the best home possible for her husband and children who she loved dearly. While raising her family, Polly became very successful at sewing, needlepoint, and ceramics. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, and hosting gatherings at the family home. Everyone around Polly knew the joy she had doing all of this. As time progressed, what started out as a family of six, grew to an additional eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. All of which were carried so proudly in Polly's heart and memories.

Polly believed in Family, Church and Community and her involvement was proof. Polly was a dedicated long-time volunteer of the Christ Child Society and a member of the Brecksville Woman's Club. While a resident of Brecksville, Polly was an active member of St. Basil's Church and later St. Raphael's Church when they moved into the Bay Village community.

Polly passed away peacefully on November 7th, 2019 and she will be eternally remembered by her children; Barbara Radis (Michael), Ted Woznicki, Paul Woznicki (Justyna), and David Woznicki (Susan); 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and many dear friends. Polly is preceded in death by her husband Ted; her parents; sister Helen Bartels, sister Ann Reimer and brother Michael Tymoszcsuk.
