She loved her time working at The Normandy in Westlake in the Alzheimer's Unit, and was most recently working at The Veterans' Administration in Sheffield. She was a devoted wife and mother, and her kids and her family were her life.

She also enjoyed playing volleyball and soccer with her Dad as her coach. She was learning how to become a good baker like her Momma. Liam J. Nelson, 6, was raised in Elyria. He attended Horizon Preschool, where he was a good friend, student, and always had a big appetite. He enjoyed playing T-ball in the Elyria Parks and Rec Program with his Dad as his coach and was getting really good at it.
