Michael C. Stump, age 30, of Elyria, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 21, 2009. He was born in Elyria on July 19, 1979.

Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He also gave the ultimate gift by being an organ donor through Lifebanc.

He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Ethel Stump (nee DeKam); step-father Cowboy Metcalf; sister Christina; brother Robert; son Ethan Stump; daughters Aliyah and Alexis Stump, and Destinee Collins; and niece Monica.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Florence DeKam.

The family will receive friends at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., in Elyria on Tuesday, December 29 from 5-7 PM. Funeral service will begin immediately following visitation at 7PM, with Rev. Doris Williams of the Original Glorious Apostolic Church officiating. Interment will be at Brookdale Cemetery at a later date.
