Beloved Companion, Loving Sister, Dear Aunt and Great-Aunt, and Cherished Friend of Many


Mary Jane "Janie" Fisher, age 75, of Brook Park, Ohio; beloved friend and companion of Alice Hart; loving sister of Patricia Odell (Willie, deceased), Alexandria Balcer (Tom), and Alex Anthony Fisher; dear aunt of Thomas Balcer, Jr. (Beth), David Balcer (MaryGrace), and Matthew Balcer (Kristie), and great-aunt of Nick and Lukas. Janie was a 1962 graduate of Marymount High School. She worked for many years at Lempco Industries, and at Transtar Industries, and many years ago worked at Sears and at Central Cadillac. Janie was a longtime season ticket holder for Cleveland Browns games, and Cleveland Indians games, and she also greatly enjoyed playing bingo, golfing, bowling and playing softball. She peacefully passed away at her home on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Please meet at the Church where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 9:30am at St. John Nepomucene Church, 3785 Independence Road, Cleveland (at Fleet Avenue and I-77 in Slavic Village). Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
