Lynn Adele Stilwell (nee Raymond), age 70, of Parma Heights, Ohio; beloved wife of Robert Leslie Stilwell for 51 years; loving mother of Brian Stilwell (Kathy), and Michelle Wright (Mike); dear grandmother of Kaylee, Kassidy, and Kamryn, step-grandmother of Ashley and Michael, and great-grandmother of Gracelyn; daughter of the late Adelbert M. and Jean E. (nee Balhorn) Raymond; cherished sister of Del Raymond (Chris); niece of Bill Balhorn (Beatrice, deceased); aunt of many nieces and nephews; lifelong friend of Dan and Nancy Brooks. Lynn was a Baton Twirler at an early age. She had many trophies and medals that she earned in competition. She performed with a group called the Caballeros for several years. She was a Majorette for the Valley Forge High School Band in 1964 and taught Baton Twirling until she married Bob. She graduated from Valley Forge High School on June 11, 1965. Lynn and Bob were married on June 11, 1966. Brian was due to be born on June 11, 1967. He was one week late. He was born on June 18, 1967. Michelle was born on August 17, 1972. When Brian and Michelle were in high school, Lynn was very active in the P.T.A. In the late 1970's, she started working evenings for Marsha Durken at her house and was taught by Marsha, the entire Florist Business. Marsha opened a shop near the Old Parma Bakery on Pearl Road in Parma. Lynn continued to work as a Floral Designer until Marsha moved the business where the Parma Bakery was, then helped manage that store for Marsha, full time. Marsha opened another store at Ridge and Pleasant Valley Road, next to Busch Funeral Home. Marsha closed the store where the Parma Bakery was then Lynn managed the new store on Ridge Road in Parma for several years. When Marsha sold the business, Lynn worked in the office of Busch Funeral Home for a few years, and before retiring, maintained all of the floral plants at the Ridge Road location in Parma, and at the Pearl Road location in Cleveland. In addition to working full time she did all of the shopping, cooking, laundry, house cleaning, and in her spare time cut out store coupons. In 2000, she stopped working because of health problems. Lynn had quadruple bypass surgery in 2001. She was diagnosed with renal disease in 2009 and started on Dialysis in October, 2010. She went three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, for 3-hour treatments each. Despite all of her physical problems she was still active with her granddaughters. Lynn and Bob attended as many Volleyball games as possible. Lynn was totally dedicated to helping her children and granddaughters with most everything they needed. What an Awesome Woman, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother! Lynn passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center. UNTIL THE TIME OF THE MEMORIAL SERVICE AT 1:00 P.M. Rev. Charles "Chuck" Butkowski, Parochial Vicar at St. Barnabas Parish in Northfield, Ohio, and a family friend, will officiate. Cremation by Busch Crematory. Private interment at Parma Heights Cemetery.
