Obituary

Kathryn Ann St. Vincent of Bay Village, Ohio passed away on February 26, 2020. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family after fighting a long-standing illness.

Kathy was 68 years old, born on July 30, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the first daughter to the late Marjorie Christiansen and late David Schultz.

Kathy is survived by her caring family: husband, Al St. Vincent, sisters Marjie Reimann and Lisa Shadek (Pete), her children Alison Von Kennel (Andy) and Robert St. Vincent (Nikki), and her grandchildren Harry and Anna Von Kennel, and Wallace and August St. Vincent.

Kathy was raised in Rocky River, Ohio, relishing summers diving, swimming and sailing at the Cleveland Yacht Club. She attended Rocky River schools most of her life, and graduated Rocky River High School in 1969. She also attended Muskingum College before living in Paris, France. Paris started her love of travel, and she joined United Airlines as a flight attendant living in New York City. She dedicated the years after working to raising her children. Kathy adored her two children, spending countless hours on soccer and tennis sidelines cheering them on. She also was a highly decorated chef, and culinary expert with too many degrees to count, and a flavorful risotto you would never forget.

Kathy had a deep passion for travel, and trivia. She followed this passion spending many recent years of her life traveling extensively on over 35 Regent Cruises, and meeting many new, and special friends. During this time, Al and Kathy saw the world visiting over 150 cities across 40 plus countries on five continents. She also cherished all of time spent with her four grand children, especially at their family home, Sailor's Rest, in Man-O-War Cay, Bahamas, basking in the sun on the Sea of Abaco, playing cards, and winning Scrabble (always).

Memorial donations can be made on behalf of Kathy to the Man-O-War Relief Fund. (www.mowrelief.com) A celebration of life will take place at a later date this year in Cleveland, OH. 440-333-9774 www.buschcares.com
