Obituary

John William Wallace, age 74, of Sheffield Lake, died suddenly of natural causes. Mr. Wallace was born on July 25, 1943 to Michael Douglas Wallace, Sr. and Dorothy Emma (nee Wilson) Wallace in Lorain, Ohio.

He was a graduate of Lorain St. Mary High School Class of 1961. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army Security Agency, having served as a Crypto Operator at Nordae Taserne, Germany.

John retired from Ford Motor Company, Avon Lake Plant. He was an active member of the VFW Post 8686 and a member of Amvets Post 55 both in Sheffield Lake. John was a former season ticket holder of the Cleveland Browns, and an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

John is survived by daughter, Angelique Kaczmarek of Boca Raton, Florida; stepdaughter, Melody Martin (Jim) of Sheffield Lake; stepson, Gary Kaczmarek (Anja) of Ohio; granddaughter, Aex Hill; sister, Jean Copeland (the late Thomas) of Sheffield Lake, numerous nieces and nephews, and his cat, Baby.

John was preceded in death by his loving wife Carol (nee Pace) Wallace; grandson, Michael S. Carte, Jr., his beloved parents, Michael Douglas and Dorothy Emma Wallace; brothers, Michael Douglas Wallace, Jr. (Carolyn), Robert Bruce Wallace, Sr. (the late Geneva) and his nephew, Robert Bruce Wallace, Jr.

Friends may call on Monday, May 21, from 5-7:00 pm at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake, 44012. A graveside service will be held in the A-Frame chapel at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, at 10:00 am on Tuesday. www.buschcares.com 440-933-3202
