Obituary

George Henry Williams (92) of Parma, Ohio passed away peacefully in hospice on May 24, 2017 with his family by his side. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Jim) Simmons of Green Valley, Arizona, his daughter-in-law Vickie Williams, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his wife, Joyce in 2005 after 60 years of marriage, his son Paul Williams in 2016, and his sister, Ada Spendio in 1980.

He was born in St. Helens, England on November 12, 1924 to John and Ada Williams.

He immigrated to St. Catharines, Ontario at the age of two. In 1956 he accepted a position as a die sinker with Alcoa in Cleveland. He retired in 1990 after 34 years.

He was a devoted husband and soft spoken family man. George's hobbies included golf, bowling and model railroading. He was an accomplished landscape painter and loved manicuring his yard as a means of chatting with his neighbors.
