Obituary for Ella Jayne Reed

Ella Jayne Reed (nee Betts), age 96. Born March 30, 1924 in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late Mildred Lucille Herrick and William Martin Betts. She married her late husband William Roy Hauserman Reed on April 8, 1945 at Fort Benning, Georgia. They had two children, Barbara Ann Covill (Dennis Peter Covill, deceased) and the late William Lory Reed (Mary Aileen nee Allen). Sister of the late Frances Ruth (William Emmet Tompkins), Robert William, and Richard Eugene (Jane A. Wick). Ella was a veteran of the WAC, enlisted in 1944 and honorably discharged 1945.
