Obituary for Edna M. Biltz McCowan

Edna M. Biltz McCowan (nee Ross), 96, of Avon peacefully passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She was born May 4, 1924 to loving parents William and Pearl (nee Fruiette) Ross in Elyria, OH.
Edna graduated from Elyria High School. She worked as a supervisor and a homemaker to her growing family. Edna was a faithful member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Avon.
Edna loved to bowl, read, work on word puzzles and travel all over the world.
Left to cherish Edna's memory are children Ronald Biltz (Marion), Beverly Finitzer (the late John), Leroy Biltz (Shirley), Julene Orantek, Edward Kovach (Barbara), Eileen Donahue (Jack), Sandra Pitts (the late Charles) and Alice McConnell (Randy); 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sisters Marietta and Hazel; brothers Leonard, Finley, Carl and Howard.
Preceded in death by her parents and husbands Julius Biltz, Henry McCowan and former husband Edward Kovach, Sr who passed in the Korean War.
