Delia Johnson (nee Martin), 96, of Sheffield Lake for 27 years, formerly of Cleveland passed away at home on February 12, 2017 following a short illness.
Delia was born on April 24, 1920 in Rockhouse, KY, and came to Ohio in 1951. She began her career at Num Num Potato Chips, which was later purchased by Frito Lay, and she worked there for a span of 30 years. Delia enjoyed landscaping, being outdoors, and tending to her flower garden, for which she was known throughout the neighborhood.
Delia is survived by her children, Mary Louise Martin of Lorain, Lucy Grace Bennett of Shady Spring, WV, Myrtle Irene Hughes (Bill) of Sheffield Lake; grandchildren Michael, Dwayne, Gregory, Lisa, John, Eric, Tammy, Crystal, Jimmy, Megan, Eric, Wade, and Jesse; great-grandchildren Amy, Ashley, John Tyler, Cody, Brandon, Amber, Dustin, Camron, Sarah, Haley, Ashley, Christian, Ryan, Joseph, Jeremiah, Sam, and Tony; great-great-grandchildren Garrett, Mason, Laynie, and Avery; and sister Eva Holbrook of Vermilion. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Arthur; parents Willie and Maryland (nee Hall); daughter Vonda Sue Dotson; 9 brothers and 1 sister.

Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake on Thursday, February 16 from 6-9pm.
