Dr Sutton was one of the kindest individuals I have ever met. he was never too busy to stop what he was doing to say Hello or ask How You Were Doing. Very rare quality.

Dr. Sutton was a great advisor, while I was attending CCC from 1983-1986. Anytime I had any issues or questions, I could go to Dr. Sutton, and he would always have a good solution. His passion for engineering kept me motived until I graduated through the mechanical engineering technology program.
He was truly a great mentor for me.
He is one of many balcony people, that has helped me, throught my working career. I am currently a project/design engineer, and still enjoy the engineering field. I remember he approved a co-op job duty, that allowed me not to have take a year-later class. Otherwise, I would have had to take the course, the following year, before being able to graduate.
He was a good motivator, for the engineering field. A field, I may not have entered, if I had not had his help and motivation.

Uncle Fred was a kind, gentle and intelligent man who reminded me of our father Paul! I always enjoyed visiting Ohio for family reunions and seeing my father and his younger brother Fred together, sharing their childhood memories. Uncle Fred will always be remembered. We love you, Uncle Fred!

Uncle Fred will be remembered for his quiet, steady goodness. I will always have good memories of the visits at Grandpa's farm and his visits with my family in Florida. I would have liked to posted all the pictures but I guess this site will only take. I posted a picture of Uncle Fred with my boys when they were young elsewhere on this site.

Fred was serving as Interim President of Metro Campus when I was employed by the college in 1970. We both continued teaching for many years after our retirements. His contributions should not be forgotten.
