Condolence & Memory Journal

"Jan, I'm so thankful for all the years that we have been friends, our talks when we were both alone with children, moments here and there at church events & garage sales and when you parked behind the church. I not only thought of you as my friend but as my inspiration. You will be missed by so many of us." My deepest sympathy to Paul, Laura and the other family members. We're keeping all of you in our prayers for your strength and comfort at this time.

Jan, I will always remember our time together at Sager-Brown. You were a great organizer that made sure that we always enjoyed the time spent sightseeing and eating out.

A lovely lady! Kind and humble. Happy to have met her on several occasions through the Ned & Patty Livengood Family. Our most sincere sympathy, from John & Jane Grosklag, Palmer Rapids, Ontario, CANADA.

Jan always had a smile when she visited the offices at UMC. She was always very kind and loved to volunteer wherever help was needed. She will shine her light on all those she left behind. My deepest sympathy to Paul and all the family.

I only came to know Jan & Paul in the last few years, but both of them have been a blessing in our lives. Our love to all of the family, especially Paul.

I remember Jan as such a kind, gracious lady, in the Advancement Department of Berea Children's Home. I believe she was originally from Canton, so that is a connection we shared.

Jan was truly a woman of faith and grace. She was a fellow "ringer", my UMW "buddy" and most importantly, a dear friend. She is now wrapped in God's arms.

I was blessed and fortunate to live next door to Jan for 10 years and have stayed in touch for another 33 years. She was truly the most generous, giving person I know. I will miss her and know that she will be missed by many who's life she touched.
