Jerry Cahill was a true professional educator. He believed in holding to the highest standards and personified those values himself. It was a privilege to be a teacher on his staff. May God comfort his family.

My love of history is directly attributed to him. He WAS the history Department at Brooklyn. He loved "Giving me the business" because we were both Irish. I have thought of him often over the years.

He was a man to be respected. Though in high school and youth, you don't realize it. Mr. Cahill was a good man looking out and guiding all of the students that he encountered. RIP.
