Dear Mary Lou and Family,

I reflect so fondly of our wonderful memories
we shared with our children in Sheffield Lake.
Ralph was so special to so many parents and their kids. He leaves memories you will cherish all of
your lives that I hope will help with your loss.
His great Legacy will always be remembered.

Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

In high school, Mr. Pisanelli was not my favorite administrator. In fact, he was the one person that I avoided at all cost. It seemed that I was always on his radar and I felt singled-out. However, as I begin my 27th year of teaching, I can whole-heartedly appreciate and understand his persistence. He knew my potential and he pushed me to graduate (pushed is such a 'gentle' word in this case) even though I wasn't interested. His creative idea my senior year -to which I referred to as "he set me up"- forced me to earn my diploma. That first accomplishment set the framework for the rest of my life. RIP. You were truly one of the good guys. thank you

My sincere Christian sympathy to the Pisanelli family. I had the honor of being a fellow teacher at Admiral King High School. Ralph was a dear friend and remained so through the years after our retirement. I regret
not being able to come and pay my respect to a great man. I will be keeping the family in my prayers that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will bring comfort through this period of grieving.

My deepest sympathies to the Pisanelli family on Coach's passing. Coach P was one of my favorite teachers and coaches at AKHS. Even when he pushed us hard on the practice field, his sense of humor and his genuine interest in us as young men was obvious. He was truly one of a kind, and will be greatly missed. Godspeed Coach, RIP.

As I read this, I cannot help but smile through my sadness as I remember Mr Pisanelli. I graduated from AKHS- Class of 79 and was one of the students that benefited from his firm hand. He was a Mentor and an Example for all of us. In your grief, please be comforted in the knowledge that his actions have touched the lives of countless people (many of which he never met) as his students have traveled through the world. Blessing and prayers to you.

Dear Mary Lou and family,

It is hard to believe that Ralph is gone. We were not only cousins, but grew up together as neighbors. There has never been a time in my life that I haven't known him. I know how hard it is for all of you to lose his daily presence, given the way his passing has affected me. It is so surreal; yet, I know logically that his last days he was not living but was just alive, and his restfulness now is with ease and without pain or suffering.

We will miss him terribly, but will never forget him. Our prayers are for his happy repose and strength to all of you -- and all the rest of his family -- to remain strong during this time of grief.
