Mr. Anderson was my homeroom teacher in the early 70's. I was feeling like a very geeky teen at the time-braces, zits the whole nine yards. One morning he caught me trying to straighten my hair in the shop room mirror before school started. He had a sense to what I was feeling but said to me, "When you get older, you will blossom into a beautiful flower". The gift of his words gave me the confidence I needed to go on. I will always remember him for that. May he rest in peace.

"My condolences to the family of Mr Anderson. I played 9th grade football for him at Pleasant Valley Jr High. I remember watching him and Mr. Beyer playing handball in the gym before school. I will not forget when he attended my fathers wake 6 years ago. It was very much appreciated! Great man! May he rest in peace!"

"Mr. Anderson" was my neighbor in Strongsville as a little boy and I idolized him growing up. He took me to the Coliseum where he was an usher to see Cavs and Crusaders games. He was a great role model, father to Brian and a wonderful man that I remember fondly to this day at age 60. God bless you and keep you Karl, until we meet again. Love, Rick Oprzadek

My condolences to the family. Karl was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. He was always friendly. I worked at the credit union when he was on the board and loved the man! Just recently while visiting my parents at the nursing home, I recognized him and had a nice encounter after 26 years. Besides his weight loss, he hadn't changed a bit - still that outgoing friendly Karl I knew. My heart goes out to all who loved and miss him.
