Tribute & Message From The Family

Loving Mother and Nana

Mary Ludlow Wilson 83, (nee Fox). Passed away on February 4, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Robert Raymond Wilson; loving mother of Robert (deceased), Frederick (Elissa), and Mary Louise "Molly" Coletta (Thomas); devoted nana of Alexander, Hannah and Isabelle Wilson and Michael and Emily Coletta; preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Gertrude Fox and brother Frederick (Tommie, deceased). Mary Lu earned her bachelor's in education at The Ohio State University and her master's in social work at Case Western Reserve University. Following her teaching career, Mary Lu developed an in-home therapy program at Cleveland Metro Hospital to break the cycle of child abuse. She was a positive light in every life she touched, and her smile lit up every room. It brings us comfort to know that she is reunited with her son and husband. Memorial contributions may be made to www.childhelp.org. A memorial service will be held at Lakewood Congregational Church, 1375 W. Clifton Blvd, Lakewood OH, 44107 at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Private interment at Lakewood Park Cemetery. 440-333-9774 www.buschcares.com

Condolence & Memory Journal

To the Wilson Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Lu's passing. She was such an incredible woman, friend, and boss and I thoroughly enjoyed working with and for her for over 15 years. Although we lost contact after I moved to NC, I have thought of her so often and I know this must be a difficult time for your family. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

To my cousins and family,
I am truly sorry to hear of the loss of your mother, also my Aunt Lu. Please accept my condolences and prayers - that these may help comfort you. On the few occasions that we got together, she always made me laugh and was beaming with life and love. Memories that I will cherish.

Dear Molly, Tom, Michael, and Emily, what a blessing to have had such a special woman in your lives! She must have been an amazing inspiration to you and to your entire family with her chosen career in social work and with her determination to prevent child abuse. Molly, you should find strength and comfort in the knowledge that you were by your wonderful mother's side through thick and thin, in good times and in difficult times, tending to her physical needs as well as to her spiritual needs. Your devotion to her and hers to you set a loving example to us all.
