Tribute & Message From The Family

Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend

TUSMEE WONG, age 91 of North Royalton. Born in Akron, Ohio to Ong Shee Yee and Fook Yee, she was 1 of 8 siblings living the American dream from immigrant parents, at first residing in the back of a downtown Akron laundry the Yees ran. At a dance in Cleveland's Chinatown she charmed Ed Wong (deceased) with her looks, wit and smarts. They married and raised Terry Webber (Patrick), Sharon Wong (deceased), Sandra Lynch (Jerry), and Richard Wong (Kathleen Salata). She was eternally doting grandmother of Donald, Pamela, Patrick, Michael, Anthony, and Taylor; great-grandmother of Song and Story. She will be forever remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend in addition to being a bowler, chef, and devoted Indians fan. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland OH 44106. The family will receive friends from 1-4pm on Saturday February 16, 2019 at BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 RIDGE RD., PARMA where a memorial service will be at 4pm on Saturday. Aunt Tusmee leaves us with many happy memories of Sunday dinners in N. Royalton. She was a kind, generous person who we were fortunate to be related to through our Dad, her Uncle Dock. May she rest in peace, united with Uncle Edgar and all relatives who have also passed.

I did not know Mrs. Wong, but this notice is why I read the obituaries. In just a few sentences a great story is told of a life well lived.
