Condolence & Memory Journal

To Helen and the rest of the family,

Please accept our condolences. I'll always cherish the memories of all the boating trips that we did together. Bill always made me smile. I learned a lot from him about boating and life. I am grateful to have known him. What a positive influence he was on me.

Rest in Peace my friend.

Oh Bill and Family, so sorry to hear of your loss. We just laid dad to rest yesterday, now this news. Like with my dad, many times you have no idea the impact you've made on people until you're gone. Bill was a character and touched many lives through his kayaking adventures. Bill was one of our first attendees at a big kayaking event we hold on Lake Erie, his special dutch oven bean recipe was one of the first things to go at our dinner. His smile would stretch from the islands to the sore and he will be sorely missed.

Goodbye my friend. You were a strong, gentle soul that made paddling and life fun. Your willingness to share your knowledge was legendary and much appreciated - going back to the days when we founded Bradstreet Sea Kayakers some 20+ years ago. Many laughs, many stories and many memories - you were special to your many kayaking friends.
