Tribute & Message From The Family

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother

ALICE CAROL ORITI (nee Mayher) of North Royalton was born March 15, 1932. She was the daughter of Matt and Barbara Mayher, and sister to the late Ernie, Arnold and Matt. Sister in law to Kathy Granata, Bill Oriti (deceased), Joe Oriti (deceased), Tony Oriti and Rose Colucci. Alice graduated from Marymount High School, married her sweetheart Nick Oriti, and remained his sweetheart for 67 years. She was a stay at home mom, that loved the theater, flower arranging, traveling and trips to her beloved Naples, Fl. Above all, though her family is what captured her heart. Loving mother of Robert (deceased) (Janet), Linda Sobie (Mick), Lisa Norder (Tom), Allen (Ann), and Jason. Adoring grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 27. Alice loved her church, St. Colette, and was very active there. She died unexpectedly on January 18. The perfect combination of class, beauty and warmth, there will be a huge hole in the lives of her loving family, and her many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to St. Colette's Project Endeavor, 330 W. 130th St., Brunswick, OH 44212. My mother and I were so very sad to hear about the loss of Alice. We attend Saint Colette's and every time we saw her she had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. She was a wonderful lady who I know will be missed by her adoring family. I thank you for sharing the video and I thank you Alice for your words that we should all live by and cherish. They will forever remain with me. May all the beautiful memories keep you strong.

I am thinking of all the Oritis today. Your family was such a big part of my childhood on Vezber Drive. I remember hanging out in your basement, building forts and just having fun. Nick and Alice welcomed the neighborhood kids. It sounds like she kept her love for the church and know she is with the Father today.

Deepest sympathy to the Oriti family. She was a classy lady with a great smile. Will miss seeing her in church. Her love for Nick and the church sure did shine from within her. May she rest peacefully with God.
