Just learning this news, my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Jan, Kelly, Danny and Shannon, and the rest of the family. George was the finest attorney I have ever had the privilege to work for. He was the master of his craft. He commanded the courtroom and had everyone's attention when he spoke. His voice was unmistakable. George taught many successful trial attorneys. He had a tough side and a soft side. And, he had a very funny side. He was my boss, my teacher, and sometimes even like a father to me. George was the very first person I called when my son, my first child, was born. From a professional perspective, he taught me everything I know. I am thankful for the 23 years that we worked together and will always have fond memories of George. As Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:7, George fought the good fight, he finished the race, and kept the faith. May he rest his case in the eternal courtroom of heaven.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

My deepest sympathy to George's family and friends. May God surround George with his everlasting love. May he be very happy for eternity. He was a great man, an outstanding attorney. I thought the world of him.
