"I remember Pappachayan, like it was yesterday, when he stayed with us for a short time in Mahim, Bombay, in the 1950s. His wit and dynamic personality left an indelible impression on my young mind. In later years, my parents always spoke highly of him. Heartfelt condolences to Joy Auntie, Ivy, Ivan, Irene, and Iona from the Daniels branch of the Adappanamkandathil family. --Michael Chacko Daniels"

"Pappachayan was a pious Christian. His passing brings back memories of him and his beloved father Pastor AC Samuel, a pioneer of A/G in Kerala whom I met in my young years when he visited the churches where my father Pastor K.J. Joseph served. Our sincere condolences to Joy Auntie and children at this time of sorrow. Pastor Wilson Jose and Pastor K.J. Joesph"

"Thinking of Pappachayn always brings fond memories. Until he came to Cleveland, (even though we are first cousins), I had only heard about him because he lived in Singapore. Since then, we were very close and always enjoyed the time whenever we were together. His illustrious life and witty talks always lighted up everything around him. We miss him so much. Thank God, we have the great hope that we will see him one day at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

"Sam was a beloved Christian and worker for Christ. He was a Gideon's Gideon. His passing will be missed by many Christians and family. I am blessed to have known him and will see him again in Glory."
