"I had a wonderful time Meeting Bob and his Son Mickey in September 2018 and playing and coaching on his team at Cooperstown NY. It was even more special bc Bob batted right behind his son Mickey and had the Highest on base percentage of our team. We had a great time on our team at Cooperstown and we will all miss Bob. All the best to the Leech family and Our prayers are with all at this time."

"I've played with and against Bob for Many years in Our Legends of Baseball tournament in Cooperstown, NY. Bob was in fact certainly a "character". But his passion to play and love for the sport was clear and infectious in many ways. We will miss you Bobby Leech and so glad you got back to your beloved Legends tournament in Cooperstown. Covid also took our tournaments away from us this year, but we will be back stronger than every in 2021. And I have no doubt whatsoever you will be with us and watching and making sure the Umps dont miss any calls.
with all our love to the entire Leech family Dan Cogliano and Legends of Baseball family"

"I met Bob in 1984 while playing baseball in Cleveland. After the season was over he called me and asked me to join his team for the '85 season.I ended up playing for and against Bob for the next 5-6 years. I also enjoyed playing with his son Mickey for awhile. We lost contact with each other for the next 25+ years as life rolled on. But in 2019 I noticed an animated, chatty umpire calling my son's high school game in Strongsville. I went behind the backstop to "give him the business". He recognized me immediately and we spoke between every inning and well after the game was over. We had some good laughs about our time in the 80's. He was a good man and a true character that will be missed. Rest in Peace Bob."

"Marilyn and family, Bob was a great friend for many years, his love for baseball, priceless. He was Mr. Seven Hills. Loved the days in Jaycees planting trees, Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas Lighting Contest all due to Bob. Rest In Peace Bob.

"I played baseball with Bob years ago. Good player, great guy. May he celebrate God's promises through Jesus Christ.
