"Mr. Anderson was my homeroom teacher in the early 70's. I was feeling like a very geeky teen at the time-braces, zits the whole nine yards. One morning he caught me trying to straighten my hair in the shop room mirror before school started. He had a sense to what I was feeling but said to me, "When you get older, you will blossom into a beautiful flower". The gift of his words gave me the confidence I needed to go on. I will always remember him for that. May he rest in peace.

""My condolences to the family of Mr Anderson. I played 9th grade football for him at Pleasant Valley Jr High. I remember watching him and Mr. Beyer playing handball in the gym before school. I will not forget when he attended my fathers wake 6 years ago. It was very much appreciated! Great man! May he rest in peace!""

""Mr. Anderson" was my neighbor in Strongsville as a little boy and I idolized him growing up. He took me to the Coliseum where he was an usher to see Cavs and Crusaders games. He was a great role model, father to Brian and a wonderful man that I remember fondly to this day at age 60. God bless you and keep you Karl, until we meet again. Love, Rick Oprzadek"

"Condolences to all the family on the passing of a wonderful man! Carl was a kind and gentle man who was always concerned about others. I had the privilege of knowing and working with Karl, when I was the board secretary and he a member of the board of PSE Credit Union! Prayers to all the family."

"I always enjoyed seeing Karl at Ohio Credit Union League and Cleveland Chapter events. He was always friendly and positive. He was a friend and board member of my late father Dave Straight at PSE Credit Union. My condolences to his family."
