Mr. Russell John Gedeon

Russell John Gedeon, age 82, passed away on Wednesday April 11, 2012. Beloved son of the late John J. and Wilhelmina Gedeon; loving father of Ronald (Karen), Randle and Roland (Valeska); proud grandfather of Kayla, Lauren, Gabriella and Isabella; former husband of Ronna-Jean. Russell will be remembered for many years of devoted service to North Olmsted Kiwanis, West Shore YMCA Indian Guides, Troop #666-Boy Scouts and Rocky River Little League Baseball, as well as hundreds of appearances at dozens of Cleveland area nursing homes and retirement homes with his great accordion and organ playing, as well as his work as a Docent Volunteer at the Cleveland Metro-Parks Zoo in the Aquatics section. Private family services were held. In lieu of flowers donations may be forwarded in Russell's memory to the Cleveland Metro-Parks Zoo, 3900 Wildlife Way Cleveland, OH. 44109. Cremation by Busch Crematory.
